Description

Birch Operations Inc. completed three Lower Spraberry-Spraberry producers at its Sunrise Studley prospect in Howard County (RRC Dist. 8) in Texas. The wells were drilled from a pad in T&P RR Co Survey, A-332. The #2WA Sunrise Studley 29-17 B. was drilled to 20,665 ft, 7,866 ft true vertical. It was tested pumping 1,798 bbl of 40.9° API oil and 9,55,000 cu ft of gas per day from perforations at 7,866-20,665 ft. Tested on a 64/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 251 psi and the flowing casing was 157 psi. The #3LS Sunrise Studley 29-17 has a total depth of 20,652 ft and a true vertical depth of 7,651 ft. It pumped 1,313 bbl of 39.9° API of and 809,000 cu ft of gas daily from a perforated zone at 8,053-20,578 ft. Gauged on a 64/64-inch choke, the flowing tubing pressure was  200 psi and the flowing casing was 193 psi. The #5DN Sunrise Studley 29-17 D was drilled to 20,908 ft (7,839 ft true vertical). It was tested on-pump flowing 1,631 bbl of 52.5° API oil and 871,000 cu ft of gas per day from perforations at 8,196-20,829 ft. The flowing tubing pressure was 187 psi. flowing casing was 117 psi during testing on a 64/64-inch choke. Birch is based in Houston.
