Aethon Energy Operating announced results from a Bienville Parish, La., discovery. The #1-Alt Bienville Sand & Gravel 3H is in Section 11-15n-10w and was drilled to 17,175 ft and the true vertical depth is 12,070 ft. The Alabama Ben Field well flowed 18.144 MMcf of gas and 600 bbl of water during a 24-hour test from perforations at 12,765-17,175. Gauged on a 22/64-inch choke, the flowing casing pressure was 8,281 psi
