Description
BHP has scheduled exploratory drilling at offshore Trinidad & Tobago, with three wells planned in Trinidad's northern contract area east of Tobago in Block 14. In 2018, a gas sand discovery was announced by the Melbourne, Australia-based company at #2-Bongos in the southern part of the block. Reportedly, gas was discovered in two other wells that the company drilled in the southern contract area in 2018. BHP is the operator with 65% interest in partnership with Shell Oil Co. holding the remaining 35%.
