Covey Park Gas completed a Hayneville Shale well in the Bethany Longstreet Field portion of DeSoto Parish, La. The #4-Alt Miller Land Company 10-3 HC was tested flowing 30.662 MMcf of gas and 1.133 Mbbl of water per day. It was drilled to 21,588 ft, 11,676 ft true vertical, in Section 10-13n-16w and bottomed in Section 3. Tested on a 36/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 6,083 psi, and production is from perforations at 11,953-21,473 ft. Covey Park is based in Dallas.
