Drilling Activity Summary

Description

1849 Energy Partners LLC plans to drill horizontal sidetracks out of two vertical Newark East Field wells in eastern Wise County (RRC Dist. 9), Texas. The #2H Pruett has a planned true vertical depth of 9,000 ft and is on a 213-acre Fort Worth Basin lease in Eli M. Thomason Survey, A-801. The lateral will bottom in Barnett Shale within 1 mile to the northwest. The vertical wellbore, #2 Pruett, was drilled in 2003 to 7,979 ft well and was tested flowing 2.817 MMcf of gas per day from fracture-stimulated perforations at 7.276-7.858 ft. Within one-half mile to the east, the company will drill the horizontal #7H Pruett and the lateral will run roughly parallel to #2H Pruett with a proposed true vertical depth of 9,000 ft. The original hole, #7 Pruett Prospect, was completed in 2009 and produced from Barnett Shale at 7,320-7,890 ft. The vertical well has cumulatively produced 274.4 MMcf of gas and 282 bbl of condensate to date. 1849 Energy is based in Fort Worth.
