Description
Tulsa-based Canyon Creek Energy Operating LLC has completed an extended-reach horizontal producer in the western Arkoma Basin in Oklahoma. The Coal County completion, #1-11/14H HB, is in Section 12-2n-9e and production is from Woodford. Gauged on a 64/64-in. choke, it initially produced 3 MMcf of gas, 64 bbl of 46-degree-gravity oil and 3 Mbbl of water per day with 165-psi flowing tubing pressure. Production is from fractured perforations between 7,208 and 14,892 ft. The well was drilled to the west in Section 11, then south about 1.5 miles to 14,920 ft (6,800 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 14-2n-9e.
