Description

Tulsa, Okla.-based Corterra Energy Operating LLC announced results from a long-reach Arkoma Basin well in Hughes County, Okla.—the first well in the township with production reported from Caney, Mayes and undifferentiated Mississippian. The #1015-1XH Merriman is in Section 4-5n-9e, and it was tested in treated intervals of undifferentiated Mississippian at 5,657-5,787 ft and Woodford at 5,788-13,478 ft. It flowed 3.16 MMcf of gas and 3.7 Mbbl of water per day. The Allen District venture was drilled to the south across Section 10 to 13,585 ft (5,864 ft true vertical) and bottomed in Section 15-5n-9e. Corterra also reported preliminary completion information from a second long-reach prospect on the pad, #0916-1HX Agnes. Drilled to 16,173 ft, 5,843 ft true vertical, it was perforated and fractured between 5,828 and 16,028 ft and was tested flowing 3.1 MMcf of gas per day from Woodford with no reported water.
