Wagner Oil Co. has completed a directional oil well in South Texas’ Virginia Field in northern Aransas County (RRC Dist. 4). According to IHS Markit, the Fort Worth-based operator’s #24 V.H. Tatton was tested on gas lift for 220 bbl of 51° API crude and 549,000 cu ft of gas daily through Frio perforations at 10,525-10,544 ft. It was drilled to a total depth of 11,281 ft (10,771 ft true vertical) and is on a 1,097-acre lease in John Durst Survey, A-51.
