Drilling Activity Summary

Description

Results from two discoveries were announced by Denver-based Anschutz Exploration Corp. in the Powder River Basin. The completions are on a drillpad in Converse County, Wyo. The #3571-17-8-2W NH Theo-Fee is in Section 17-35n-71w and initially flowed 267 bbl of 40-degree-gravity oil, 226 Mcf of gas and 1.37 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a Niobrara lateral extending from 10,280 ft northward to 16,670 ft at a bottom-hole location in Section 8-35n-71w. The true vertical depth is 11,687 ft. It was tested on a 55/64-in. choke following 18-stage fracturing between 12,220 and 16,338 ft. The #3571-17-5-1FH Theo-Fed is a Turner producer that was tested flowing 3.193 Mboe per day from a 6,872-ft lateral. It was drilled to the northwest to 22,067 ft and bottomed in Section 5-35n-71w – it is the first Turner producer in the township.
