Drilling Activity Details
Drilling Activity Summary
Description
Two horizontal San Andres oil wells were announced by Ring Energy Inc. in the Andrews County (RRC Dist. 8), Texas, portion of Block A-34 Field. The #1H Persephone pumped 1.192 Mbbl of 33.3-degree-gravity crude, 518 Mcf of gas and 2.461 Mbbl of water per day from a fracture-stimulated zone at 4,924-11,991 ft. The 12,030-ft well has a true vertical depth of 4,662 ft and it bottomed about 1.5 miles to the north in Section 2. It was drilled in Section 9, PSL Survey, A-1984. About 1 mile to the northwest in Section 9, Block A34, PSL Survey, A-2336, #1H Ceres was tested pumping 656 bbl of 33.3-degree-gravity oil, 206 Mcf of gas and 3.605 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from fracture-treated perforations at 4,958-9,874 ft. It was drilled to 9,974 ft, 4,678 ft true vertical, and the horizontal lateral bottomed more than a mile to the northwest. Ring is based in Midland, Texas.
