Description

Two Delaware Basin-Wolfcamp discoveries were announced by Austin-based Ameredev Operating LLC in Section 28-26s-36e of Lea County, N.M. The #111H Azalea 26-36-28 State is producing 571 bbl of oil, 14.613 MMcf of gas and 3.872 Mbbl of water per day. It was drilled to 18,993, 11,966 ft true vertical, and production is from perforations at 12,170-18,987 ft. The lateral bottomed within 1.5 miles to the south in irregular Section 33. Tested on a 1-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,200 psi. The offsetting and parallel #121Y Azalea 26-36-28 State was completed in a deeper Wolfcamp zone flowing 1.694 Mbbl of crude, 6.688 MMcf of gas and 5.335 Mbbl of water daily from perforations at 12,669-19,454 ft. Gauged on an 88/64-in. choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 1,000 psi. It was drilled to 19,469 ft and the true vertical depth is 12,434 ft. The lateral was drilled out of a vertical pilot hole that reached an unreported depth.
