A Sligo Field-Haynesville Shale completion was announced by Aethon Energy Operating LLC. Located in Section 15-17n-11w of Bossier Parish, La., the #1-Alt Gilmer 22-27HC flowed 20 MMcf of gas per day through fracture-treated perforations at 11,565-18,768 ft. It was drilled to 18,922 ft, 10,826 ft true vertical, and bottomed about one-half mile to the south in Section 27. Gauged on a 28/64-in. choke, the flowing casing pressure was 6,260 psi. Aethon’s headquarters are in Dallas.
