Aethon Energy Operating LLC, based in Dallas, has completed a horizontal Fort Union producer on the western flank of Frenchie Draw Field in the Wind River Basin. According to IHS Markit, #17-14B-2H Gun Barrel Unit is in Section 17-37n-90w of Fremont County, Wyo. It initially flowed 404 bbl of oil, 1.182 MMcf of gas and 2.511 Mbbl of water per day. Production is from a lateral in Fort Union extending from 7,412 ft northeastward to 14,650 ft. It bottomed in Section 9-37n-90w with a true vertical depth of 7,411 ft. It was tested on a 62/64-in. choke after 39-stage fracturing between 7,820 and 14,495 ft.
