Northwoods Operating LLC, according to IHS Markit, has scheduled 24 horizontal wildcats to be drilled from a common drillpad in the western Powder River Basin in Johnson County, Wyo. The #01W12-1 through 4 FH, MH, NH Gawain, and #01W25-1 through 4 FH, MH, NH Gawain will be in Section 1-46n-81w. Eight laterals will be drilled in Niobrara, Mowry and Frontier. Bottom-hole locations are to the south in Section 12-46n-81w, and to the north in Section 12-46n-81w. Measured total depths range up to 22,186 ft. The Denver-based company’s drillpad is 5-6 miles northwest of Trabing Field, which has produced 1.04 MMbbl of oil, 1.4 Bcf of gas and 145.634 Mbbl of water primarily from Frontier since its discovery in 1975.
